About the Business

The work of the College, originally established in 1852 as Shoreham Grammar School, is based largely on traditional lines and aims at a thorough preparation for the GCSE examinations. Entry can be at any stage between Early Years and Year 11. Both scholarships and bursaries are available. Despite our non-selective policy, our pupils frequently achieve high grades in GCSEs, well above the national average.

We have a duty to instil a high standard of discipline at Shoreham College not only between staff and pupils but also with fellow pupils.
